The Justice Department has charged 31 individuals for an alleged ATM malware operation. This brings the total charged in this case to more than 50, according to a report by ABC News.

The department claims many of these people are members of the Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua. With the scheme, the members would allegedly jackpot the ATMs through a thumb drive.

After the ATM was jackpotted, they would then send illegitimate commands to the ATMs to withdraw cash.
