WVU Cyber announces national security internships, scholar opportunities

Encourage your students to apply for VICEROY, a Department of Defense partnership program offering new opportunities for the current academic year and summer.

The program prepares students for national security careers in cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, data science and electromagnetic spectrum through applied learning and engagement within Department of Defense missions.

WVU is one of only 16 lead universities nationwide selected as a VICEROY Scholars Institution.

All successful applicants will receive a $1,000 stipend and are eligible for paid summer internships with security clearances at numerous Department of Defense installations.

After becoming a WVU VICEROY Scholar, students may apply for the summer VICEROY MAVEN and VICEROY ENVOY internships.

These programs place students in immersive, mission-focused roles at defense-related host sites across the country and include pay, housing and transportation support.
