KENSINGTON — On the morning of April 22, a search warrant was conducted at 10 Grand Ave. S. in Kensington based on an ICAC (Internet Crimes Against Children) cyber tip.
The search warrant was executed without incident.
In coordination with this incident, an individual was taken into custody in another jurisdiction based on information from the cyber tip.
This was an isolated incident and there is no threat to the general public. This is an active and ongoing investigation, and no further details will be released at this time, according to the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office.
The sheriff’s office was assisted by the Alexandria Police Department and the West Central Minnesota Drug and Violent Crimes Task Force.
