COLUSA, Calif. — Colusa County is participating in Cybersecurity Awareness Month this October, joining a nationwide campaign to boost cybersecurity awareness and promote digital safety measures.
The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency leads this collaborative effort, uniting public and private sectors to encourage actions that reduce online risks. The campaign stresses that basic actions can significantly defend against cyber threats and protect critical infrastructure.
U.S. businesses and government entities, which own or support critical infrastructure, are essential in preventing cyber intrusions. This includes organizations of all sizes, from small businesses to technology manufacturers.
Colusa County is committed to implementing essential cybersecurity practices and encourages others to do the same. More information and free tools are available here.
