CrowdStrike CRWD is leaning further into AI driven cybersecurity, expanding its partnership with IBM
IBM in a way that is really about one thing, responding to threats faster than ever.
The two companies are bringing together CrowdStrike’s Charlotte AI and IBM’s ATOM platform to help Security Operations Centers automate how they detect, investigate, and contain attacks. And speed is not just a talking point here.
The latest data shows the average eCrime breakout time is now just 29 minutes, with some breaches happening in as little as 27 seconds. That kind of timeline does not leave much room for human reaction, which is why automation is becoming essential.
This deal also deepens CrowdStrike’s role inside IBM’s broader security setup. Its Falcon platform will now sit at the core of IBM Consulting’s managed security services, as well as its X Force Cyber Range simulations, which are used to test how organizations respond to real world attacks.
