    European Commission selects Atos as cybersecurity provider

    The French group has signed a €326 million four-year contract.

    Atos announced on September 24, 2025, the signing of a €326 million, four-year framework contract with the European Commission for the provision of cybersecurity services. The French company will act in consortium with Leonardo, the Italian defense group, under a so-called “cascade” mechanism.

    This system gives Atos priority in the allocation of cybersecurity tasks entrusted by the institutions, agencies and bodies of the European Union. According to the French group, the contract covers “the acquisition of professional services related to cloud and information systems.” It includes four main missions:

    • incident response and digital forensics;
    • threat monitoring;
    • malware analysis;
    • offensive security (vulnerability management, penetration testing and attack simulations).

    Heavily indebted and taken over by its creditors in 2024, Atos announced in early September 2025 the elimination of 135 permanent positions in France.
