HARRISBURG, PA — Reach Cyber Charter School, known for its statewide online STEM-focused education model, has been recognized as one of the 2025 Best Places to Work in Pennsylvania by Central Penn Business Journal and Lehigh Valley Business, in partnership with Best Companies Group.
The recognition highlights Reach Cyber’s commitment to flexibility, collaboration, and employee well-being — values that mirror its approach to student learning. The school’s structure allows educators and staff to work from anywhere in Pennsylvania while maintaining a strong, mission-driven community focused on student success.
“I’ve worked in a lot of different workplaces over my many years in education, and it’s always been clear to me that the people at Reach Cyber, and the learning experiences they create for our students, make this school special,” said Jane Swan, CEO of Reach Cyber Charter School. “Receiving this recognition as one of Pennsylvania’s Best Places to Work is a wonderful way to acknowledge the culture and environment our team has built together to help our students reach their potential.”
The Best Places to Work in PA program evaluates employers based on workplace policies, practices, and employee feedback. Staff surveys make up 75% of the final score, ensuring the recognition reflects genuine employee experience. Honorees are ranked in three size categories — small, medium, and large — with Reach Cyber earning recognition among the state’s top educational employers.
Founded to provide flexible, high-quality public education for K–12 students, Reach Cyber’s online model extends its flexibility to its workforce. Employees cite support from leadership, a clear sense of purpose, and opportunities for professional growth as defining features of the school’s culture.
All honorees will be celebrated during a formal ceremony on December 4 at the Lancaster Marriott at Penn Square Hotel.
