FOM Technologies recently published its annual report, outlining how the company is being affected by the current geopolitical uncertainty.
Like many other companies, FOM Technologies is impacted by the current geopolitical situation, where international trade is under pressure. The United States is the company’s largest single market, where tariffs are currently dampening investment appetite. This was reflected in FOM Technologies’ latest financial results, where revenue declined by 19% compared to the level in 2024.
For FOM Technologies, 2025 was also a year marked by the implementation of a comprehensive cost-reduction program. This included a 25% reduction in the workforce as well as a decrease in management compensation. However, combined with last year’s capital raise (approximately DKK 20 million in gross proceeds) and a strengthened strategic focus, the company’s management remains optimistic about 2026.
In 2025, FOM Technologies also experienced challenges within its core business in green energy due to uncertain market conditions. However, the company secured its first order within the defense industry, marking an important step toward a more diversified product portfolio. FOM Technologies has also increased its focus on integrating artificial intelligence into its machines, aiming to offer customers higher precision and improved data analysis. As a result, the company is entering markets that are currently characterized by high growth.
Despite the current challenges, FOM Technologies is approaching 2026 with a focus on stability and controlled growth. The company expects revenue in the range of DKK 40–50 million, with a negative EBITDA of DKK 10–20 million. With solid equity of DKK 52.8 million and a streamlined organization, FOM Technologies is well positioned to capitalize on the opportunities that a more stable geopolitical environment may bring.
