A Free Trade Agreement between India and Taiwan is now on the table, with Taipei targeting to double trade volumes in just five to six years. James Chih-Fang Huang of TAITRA highlights India as one of Taiwan’s fastest-growing export markets, already six times larger than before. But China is furious. Beijing continues to pressure India to stick to its “One-China” stance, warning against any formal ties with Taiwan. India, however, hasn’t reiterated this stance in over a decade.
