NEW YORK (Dunya News) – Chairman Senate Yousaf Raza Gillani on Thursday said that the world is facing challenges such as climate change, violent conflicts, and growing inequality.
Addressing an event of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) in New York, he stated that no country can tackle these issues alone saying that everyone must play their role to confront these challenges.
Yousaf Raza Gillani added that peaceful solutions to conflicts must be found and added that the United Nations should fulfill its role in resolving global issues.
