Island technology firm receives national recognition

A care technology provider has been received national recognition for its commitment to quality.

Isle of Wight-based Safeguard Technologies has been approved for membership of the Telecare Services Association (TSA), the UK’s professional body for technology-enabled care.

Membership recognises organisations operating in line with established standards and best practice in telecare services.

Sandra Knowles of Safeguard Technologies said: “Being approved for membership reflects our commitment to high standards and ensures we remain aligned with the organisations shaping the future of care technology.”

The firm says it is the only independent Isle of Wight provider supplying personal alarm and GPS-enabled devices.

The company was also invited to attend the TSA’s flagship International Technology Enabled Care Conference at the International Convention Centre.
