Founded in 2013, the company started its activity with the aim of replacing fragmented solutions, digitizing processes that escaped traditional management systems. This vision allowed them to identify common patterns between different organizations and develop reusable and scalable products. The result is a solid portfolio where solutions such as TransplantHUB, CoordHUB, PolisHUB and AcademiHUB stand out.
The project that has put JamHUB in the spotlight across borders is TransplantHUB. Its origin dates back to the collaboration with the Portuguese Institute of Blood and Transplantation, when in 2014 the Portuguese Transplantation Registry was created. This platform has become an essential tool for more than 50 hospital units and 18 transplant centers in Portugal. The accumulated experience was decisive for the development of its own and more ambitious system, which today responds to all stages of the organ donation and transplantation process.
TransplantHUB integrates clinical, operational, and administrative flows, ensuring a consolidated view in real time. The objective is to optimize medical decision-making, facilitate coordination between teams distributed across several institutions and ensure traceability and information security. The pandemic has accelerated the evolution of the platform and reinforced its role as a recovery engine in the sector.
The international bet began in Saudi Arabia, through a partnership with the Saudi Center for Organ Transplantation. Adapting to local specificities resulted in ATHAR by TransplantHUB, a solution designed to support the entire national Saudi transplant ecosystem. Shortly after, the Portuguese technology was selected by the United Arab Emirates for the federal HAYAT program, beating competition from North American and Canadian companies. The platform is currently in the implementation phase, adjusted to the requirements of a federal model.
JamHUB’s international strategy is based on adapting to each regulatory and clinical reality, in direct collaboration with national health authorities. This approach has opened doors to expansion to other countries in the Middle East and North Africa and projects opportunities in America, Asia and Europe. The North American market emerges as a long-term strategic objective, both for the volume of activity and for the technical validation it would represent.
In addition to TransplantHUB, the company also invests in research, in cooperation with researchers and doctors, reinforcing the scientific credibility of the solution. Exploratory contacts with the pharmaceutical industry are underway to create synergies in areas such as drug traceability and drug surveillance. At the same time, solutions such as PolisHUB, already in operation in Mafra, show the versatility of the technology developed, applicable to other sectors.
With a growing team and more than 90 percent of turnover coming from the international market, JamHUB Solutions positions itself as a clear example of the Portuguese ability to create innovative and competitive solutions to global health challenges.
