A technology sector deal is helping to strengthen cloud distribution in Europe.

Southampton-based law firm Moore Barlow advised Climb Global Solutions on its approximately £6.9 million acquisition of interworks.cloud.

Climb is a Nasdaq-listed IT channel company, and interworks.cloud is a leading cloud distributor headquartered in Greece.

Matthew Sullivan, chief financial officer at Climb Global Solutions, said: “The legal team at Moore Barlow provided clear and pragmatic advice and a highly responsive service throughout the process and played a key role in ensuring the transaction progressed smoothly to completion – they were a pleasure to work with.”

The acquisition expands Climb’s reach across Southeastern Europe and grows its Microsoft Cloud Solution Provider footprint, bringing more than 600 reseller and managed service provider relationships in Greece, Malta, Cyprus, and Bulgaria into its network.

Moore Barlow’s corporate team was led by partner Jeremy Over and included legal director Natasha Jones, solicitor Tamia Varghese, and partner Sarah Crookall.
