    The President has resorted to his own social channels to show his anger at what happened: “This adds to the many other fines and taxes that have been imposed against Google and other US tech companies, in particular. Very unfair, and the American taxpayer will not stand for it! As I have said before, my Administration will NOT allow these discriminatory actions to continue!” he warned.

    In fact, Trump explained that these sanctions take money away from the company that “would otherwise go to investment and jobs in the United States” and incidentally branded Brussels’ decision as another “blow” against “a great American company.”

    That’s why the US president was rigid and tough on the consequences it will have: “We cannot allow this to happen to brilliant, unprecedented American innovation and, if it continues, I will be forced to initiate a proceeding under Section 301 to overturn the unfair sanctions that are being levied on these tax-paying American companies.”

    Later, he published another message in the same way demanding that Europe stop this action. “Google has also paid, in the past, $13 billion in false claims and charges, for a total of $16.5 billion. How absurd is this? The European Union must stop this practice against American companies, IMMEDIATELY!” he said. And tariffs are back on the table in this global economic ‘battle’
