City of Cheyenne, police, to host community meeting about Flock Safety Technology

CHEYENNE, Wyo. — The Cheyenne Police Department recently announced that on Wednesday, March 11, the CPD and the City of Cheyenne will host a community meeting to discuss the use of Flock Safety Automatic License Plate Reader (ALPR) technology.

A release from the CPD says that the meeting will be hosted at the Cheyenne Public Safety Center in the Community Room, located at 415 West 18th Street.

“Department representatives and City leadership will provide an overview of how the system works and how CPD officers use the technology, then answer questions and listen to community feedback,” the release states. “The event is an opportunity for residents, business owners, and community members to come together, ask questions, and share their thoughts about the program. All are welcome to attend.”
